shot type- medium long shot
this shot type has been used so you can see his hands and she that he has gloves on the has a gun in his hand this also shows that he is taking a step forwards if they used a long shot you wouldn't be able to see his facial expression as well as you can when they use a medium long shot and with a medium long shot you can see his face but also see his hands, gun and holster on is legs. His facial expression is very serious and he looks like he has a very important job to do. If they used a mid shot we wouldn't be able to see his hands or gun as they are below where the mid shot would be able to see.
clothing- he is dressed to go find someone and be very active so he cant be in a suit as he wouldn't be very comfortable being active in a suit.
props- the props he has in his hands are a gun an he has gloves on his hands. the gloves connote that he doesn't want to get caught with the gun or get caught with his fingerprints on a gun or something he shouldn't be touching.
facial expression- his facial expression shows he is very serious. this connotes that he doesn't have time to mess around or talk to anyone he has a very serious job to do and he takes it very serious.
background- the background is very plain it is a gold colour and a blue 007 sign with a gun next to it. this may connote that 007 is his identity number or that number is used to find him or is on something important in the movie. The gold shows that he is very wealthy or he has a high status and is well known.
gunshots- the gunshots you can hear connote that the film is very action packed and to add dramatic effect into the film trailer to get moe people to watch it.
tier's screeching- the tires screeching you can hear connote that someone driving has to make a very sudden turn to get away or they were going very fast and then had to stop very quickly
explosions- they put explosions into the trailer connote that they add dramatic effect or to show that there's lots of things happening or there is a lot of action.
fade to black- used to shoe change in time or place. cutting between clips and scenes
pace of cuts- they got faster to add suspense to show action and at the end cut they got slower to add more dramatic effect. this i used to add more effect on the viewer and to get them more engaged in the film.

Tenet Trailer- During the whole trailer they use very fast music to keep you engaged with the trailer and make you want to know what happens next. They use very mysterious music for parts of the trailer to show that in some parts of the film there is some mysterious activity or mysterious scenes throughout the film that people may want to look out for or stay engaged, wanting to know more with the film and the viewer wanting to watch the whole movie. They use this music to keep peoples attention on the trailer and not whats around them or going on in the real world. Mostly they would add it to the scenes to make them more dramatic and more intriguing.
mise-en-scene:
The clothing is very futuristic and very unique some of them wear clothing with armour or flowing clothes that look like they keep the people very cool on the other hand the armour looks very thick and that it would make the person wearing it very hot. T he background looked very futuristic and like the world was in trouble with lots of fire and smoke coming from the ground or buildings. It looks like the people in the film have to save the world or have to go to war with another country or army to rule the world or gain power. The props they use are guns or swords or futuristic looking weapons that they use in the war to win the war against someone they use guns and shoot them at glass that doesn't break when it is shot at when the two people are fighting over one gun and trying not to get shot.
camera work:
In the trailer they use close up, long shots and mid shots. They use close up shots to focus on the facial expressions of each character when they are in pain, scared, gaining power or they focus on a part of their body like their hand or arm or leg to add dramatic effect to that part. They use long shots when they show two or more characters and the landscape that is around them and what is around them. They use mid shots when they want to show what is on the characters waist or what is on the characters clothes on the top half of their body and to show their facial expressions but not as close as a close up shot. They use the mid shot to show what is in the characters hand and their facial expression.
In the Dune trailer mise-en-scene is used effectively to show what the background is and what the characters are wearing. Through out the trailer the clothing the characters wear armour like clothing. This may connote that they are going to war or getting ready to fight against strong powerful people. The clothing they wear looks like it would protect them from bullets or bad damage to their health while fighting or going to war. They may be going to war with people that are stronger than them as they need to wear armour or they wear it to protect them from being badly damaged. This trailer can also imply that there is a lot of war going on in the movie due to lots of weapons being seen throughout the trailer.
In the Dune trailer camera work is used effectively to show what different shots there are. For example in the scene where there are two characters looking over a city on fire. The shot used is a wide shot as you can see their whole bodies and what is around them but they look very small compared to the size of the fire to show how big the fire is compared to the two characters. In other scenes close up shots are used to shoe the characters facial expressions when they are stressed, in pain, gaining power or when they have power over someone. This shows that whatever their facial expression is the audience would be able to see it clearly because they are close to their face so we can clearly see what they are feeling in that moment. They may also use a close up shot to show the facial features of a certain characters that may be very important or remembered by a certain feature. The trailer may also be seen by a range of different viewers so they need to make sure all the camerawork and shot types engage everyone that watches the trailer to get as many people as possible to watch the full movie.

mise-en-scene- the clothing the characters are wearing is very old looking and looks like it is set in the time of a war or when there was a world crisis. The clothing shows that they are children may only have a few pairs of clothes and they may not have enough money to buy clothes that properly fit them.
camerawork- They use a wide shot so they can show the children and the world around them. The objects around them looks like old trains and alot of unwanted wood and supplies this connotes that the children have somewhere they can go to hang out with their friends or they have somewhere safe to hide if something goes wrong and someone is looking for them.

Mise-en-scene: The clothing the children are wearing looks very old and used. The clothing looks like the film is set is set in the time of a war or a world crisis. The children are holding big pieces of what looks like curtains with the words 'Please stop' on them in hope to get someone or something to stop for them or they want them to stop for someone to get on. The background looks like it's an overcast day but still warm as the boys are wearing shorts and the girls or wearing either skirts or dresses but are wearing jackets or multiple layers on top of the clothes they were originally wearing. It looks like they are at a train station waiting for a train to arrive to pick up or drop someone off that they really want to meet or can't wait to see after a while of not seeing them. The writing on the signs is in bright red paint this may connote that the message on the signs in important and thy need to have somebody to be able to read the writing o it as they are going past at speed to hopefully get them to stop.
Camerawork: The shot types they used in this scene is a wide shot as they needed to fit quite a lot of people into one shpt but also get their surroundings so they are able to show the platform they are standing on to wait for a train. the camera is a bit lower than the platform they are standing on which shows that they wanted to get part of the sky in the shot as well. they used a wide shot so they could show the children and their surroundings clearly but also be able to see what is on the signs they are holding in their hands.
Soundtrack: Throughout the trailer they use fast and engaging music to keep the audience intrigued in what will happen next. They use this type of music to keep the trailer flowing to the end and to make sure the audience wanting to know what happens next.
editing: Throughout the trailer they use straight cuts between scenes to show what happens in the film but not too much to the point where it spoils the film. They use straight cuts to piece together pieces of the film that flow together to make the trailer more engaging for the audience. They sometimes use and blue screen with some writing to show what is happening or to show who some of the actors are, this is also done by using a straight cut to make sure the trailer flows together and so them the audience doesn't get bored or have the film spoiled by having too much of the film put into the trailer.
